Silvie continues the legacy of her grandfather, a hobby beekeeper, who was also inspired by his father, a beekeeper. The brand BE(E) QUEEN was born out of a passion for nature, bees and for products that make us feel good. We have a small and responsible production. All honeys are cold extracted, not heated and not pasteurized. The taste of Provence wherever you will go!

Our honeys

Our honeys are collected in the Provence Alpes Cote d’Azur region.
While the Garrigue honey and Garrigue exquis honey come from the main apiary in Cotignac (Var), the Lavender Honey is collected near the Lake Saint Croix du Verdon (Alpes de Haute Provence).

Honey Garrigue

A smooth tasting, round honey with a typically Provençal aromatic nose that pleases everyone.

Made from local products – beeswax and olive oil, this balm will nourish and beautify all your wooden furniture, art objects, natural metals. Apply with a soft cloth, let it penetrate and polish one hour later. Protects against stains and water spots.

Bees harvest propolis from certain tree buds and incorporate wax, honey, and their salivary enzymes to make the perfect paste. It is a precious resinous material that bees use as a mortar to insulate against cold and as a medical balm to defend against bacteria. The Greeks used the name "black wax". The Egyptians, who were very observant of bees, noticed that a foreign intruder entering the hive was quickly killed by the bees and then embalmed with propolis, so that the corpse could not contaminate the hive by decomposing. Thus the Egyptians kept the body of a man or a sacred animal to preserve immortality. It contains more than 300 components, amino acids, vitamins, flavonoids, trace elements, vitamins and above all 100% natural.
